Did you know that Charles Sheldon wrote a sequel to In His Steps? ðŪ It's called Jesus is Here, and takes place 15 years after the first book. It tells the story of Jesus appearing in Raymond and the impact He has.
I finally tracked down a copy and I'm just about done reading it. It's an interesting read! I'm thinking about recording an audio book of it, especially since this year marks the 10 year anniversary of when we made out movie of In His Steps! Yep, it's been 10 years! ðĪŊ Crazy how the time has flown by, and I still get messages about the movie's impact on people, praise God!

After fighting a cold for the past week, I can finally record again! ðĨģ And it's a good thing, too, because I've got an audition, two YouTube narrations, and a friend's fan film in my queue! ðĩâðŦ And that's on top of editing a video for a client, making more promotional stuff for #WhatAreChristians, continuing to find more voiceover work (which is monumental in and of itself!), and finishing up making videos to launch a new YouTube channel! ðŪâðĻ
No wonder I look kinda exhausted in this pic! ð
...You know what, I need to be super vulnerable here for a minute. As hard as it is to juggle everything, it's made harder by the fact that it feels like my family and I are in a constant state of Crisis Mode. We barely made rent this month and had to wipe out our savings to do so. My erratic health makes it extremely difficult to get enough work to pay the bills.
Yes, God has constantly provided for us, whether through just enough work or the immense generosity of friends and family. I know He's still there, but seeing the bank account dwindle with little to no income on the horizon, my wife on the verge of burnout, and living with Fibromyalgia making it feel like I'm walking a tightrope over the Grand Canyon trying to manage my symptoms... well, it's hard.
I didn't start this post with the intent of dumping all that here, but... I dunno, it just sort of happened. Sorry about that. ð
Please keep praying for us. And hey, if you know anyone looking for a voice actor, maybe pass along my demo reels. Or if your church is looking for a small group study, send them What Are Christians. ð
