While taking a much-needed vacation, the Doctor gets caught up with a Time Agent on the run from an unstoppable warrior with a deadly vendetta against all time travelers.
As I mentioned in my 25 Random Facts About Me vlog last year, I joined up with a Doctor Who fan film shared universe group called the Hourglass Universe to play the 20th incarnation of The Doctor. This Doctor is different than the version I used in the “Storyteller Universe” and Indy Christian Review, and is referred to as the “Loner Doctor” to differentiate him.
As this is very much a side/hobby project, it hasn’t been much of a priority. I wrote the script for this episode in the Fall of 2020, recorded lines in March of 2021, and finally got around to editing it this month while taking breaks from writing What are Christians.
I did this as an audio drama for a few reasons: 1. Voice acting practice, 2. Faster production time compared to live action (in theory! 😝) 3. A good learning experience for audio drama production (this is the first I’ve ever made!), and 4. A lot easier to make for free! 😛
Oh, and even though this is a separate universe from the Storyteller stuff, if you listen carefully to the music, you may detect something that alludes to a link between the two universes. 😉
